U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee selects Next League to build the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Digital Engagement Platform
Digital Engagement Platform (DEP) to strengthen fan and stakeholder engagement among the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic community
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – April 13, 2023 – The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee today announced the selection of Next League to build out its U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Digital Engagement Platform (DEP). The DEP will deliver an unparalleled digital experience to all that support and represent Team USA, National Governing Bodies and the USOPC.
“By reimagining the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Digital Engagement Platform, we are further elevating the voices of Team USA athletes and our National Governing Bodies,” said Katie Bynum, USOPC chief strategy & growth officer. “In doing this, Team USA fans across the world will hear directly from U.S. athletes and will engage in new ways with NGBs to further strengthen the support of Team USA.”
A reimagined TeamUSA.org will be the destination for fans to cultivate a deeper relationship with athletes and sports, and feel connected to the Olympic and Paralympic movements through innovative features that put athletes at the center of all storytelling. The DEP will allow athletes to serve as storytellers and be the gateway to Team USA and the overall platform user experience. NGBs will develop custom digital experiences that foster, facilitate and grow the relationship between athletes, fans, stakeholders and the community.
The creation of USOPC.org will serve as a central destination for athletes, staff, NGBs and additional stakeholders to learn, connect, and efficiently access services and resources. The TeamUSA.com and USOPC.org websites are scheduled to launch summer of 2023.
