Next League Hires Sports Tech Veteran for Growing Commercial Team

Lindsay Schwartz joins Next League as its Director, Business Development

NEW YORK, NY - July 18, 2023 - Next League, the leading digital growth consultancy and technology services organization working exclusively within the global sports industry, today announced the hire of Lindsay Schwartz, a seasoned partnership executive, as its new Director, Business Development. 

In this newly created role, Lindsay will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and growing key partner accounts and contributing to the company’s strategic consulting efforts. She will report to Pete Anderson, Next League’s VP, Commercial.

Lindsay has extensive experience in delivering multifaceted technology and fan engagement solutions for clients within major and minor league sports. She was most recently at Tappit, the cashless payment company leveraged by some of the largest venue and event spaces including Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Super Bowl LVII Champion Kansas City Chiefs. In her three years there, she oversaw the account management function, was responsible for the adoption and utilization of Tappit’s software and driving substantial revenue growth.

Prior to Tappit, Lindsay spent several years at Octagon where she was responsible for the management of Mastercard’s US Team Sport sponsorships including their MLB sponsorship, featuring naming rights for their annual All-Star Game, in addition to sponsorships with the New York Yankees, Chicago Cubs, Los Angeles Dodgers, Boston Red Sox and Dallas Cowboys. Before Octagon, Lindsay spent over five years at Legends on their partnership and activations team and began her career with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Lindsay received her Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sports Management from the University of Ohio, where she was also a member of their Division I Field Hockey team. Originally from Lancaster, PA she now resides outside of Philadelphia in West Chester, PA.
