Jenna Trabulus has been promoted to Chief Business Officer, a newly created role, where she will oversee the overall commercial efforts of the company including the acquisition of business in women\u2019s sports.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jenna joined Next League in September 2023 as its VP, Client Strategy &amp; Delivery. In this role, she oversaw the delivery of projects within Next League\u2019s largest accounts, including the United States Olympic &amp; Paralympic Committee (USOPC) and NASCAR. She was heavily involved in overall business development efforts, including most recently with the LPGA, the world\u2019s premier women\u2019s professional golf organization. Before Next League, she was most recently at Deltatre, where she managed executive-level relationships and was responsible for building the North American D2C business and new business models in sport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOver the last few months, Jenna has played an integral role in streamlining our commercial efforts from account management and commercial operations to business development and developing new service offerings,\u201d said David Nugent, Co-Founder and CEO, Next League. \u201cWe know her relevant experience, deep industry knowledge, extensive network and a track record of success will help accelerate our vision of becoming the leader in global sports technology services. During her tenure as Strategic Advisor to the President and COO of the three-time WNBA Champion Los Angeles Sparks, she redefined the team\u2019s digital, partnership and revenue strategy around content, social impact and community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This aligns with Next League\u2019s mission to work with sports organizations and make investments that have a lasting social impact, especially those that provide access to the sports and sports business industry to people who might not have otherwise had it.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cI firmly believe in the transformative power of sports,\u201d said Jenna. \u201cInterest in and excitement around the growth of women\u2019s sports has never been greater. I am grateful for this opportunity to continue to leverage our leadership position to create greater access to the sports and sports business industry.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last month at&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/events.sportsbusinessjournal.com\/2024-techweek\/p\/1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sports Business Journal\u2019s Tech Week<\/a><\/strong>, Next League announced a $10,000 donation to the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenssportsfoundation.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Women\u2019s Sports Foundation<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;in recognition of all women speakers at this year\u2019s event. They also announced the formation of the \u2018Next in Sports Tech: Rising Female Tech Leader\u2019 Award, to be distributed beginning in 2025, which will be given to a rising female star who has a technology role within an organization that focuses on sports. Additionally, as part of their new multi-year engagement with the LPGA, Next League committed $100,000 to the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lpga.com\/lpga-foundation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LPGA Foundation<\/a><\/strong>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Next League has made similar commitments with several other partners within the last year. Together with the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.usopc.org\/news\/2023\/may\/24\/next-league-commits-to-funding-500-000-athlete-endowment-with-the-united-states-olympic-paralympic-foundation#:~:text=Next%20League%20is%20building%20the,platforms%20to%20global%20sports%20organizations.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">United States Olympic &amp; Paralympic Committee<\/a><\/strong>, they formed the Next League USOPF Endowment Fund, a multi-year philanthropic commitment to the U.S. Olympic &amp; Paralympic Foundation, the fundraising arm of the United States Olympic &amp; Paralympic Committee.
