Becki Civello has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. In this role, she will oversee the business operations of the company.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Civello joined Next League earlier in 2022 as VP, Strategic Operations. Prior to joining Next League, she spent nearly 10 years at OMNIGON \/ Infront X. In her most recent role there, she oversaw the global commercial function including strategy, business development, account management and marketing. During her tenure, she also built and managed relationships with key client accounts, developed the account management practice and formalized the commercial operations function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI am thrilled to announce Becki\u2019s promotion,\u201d said David Nugent, Co-Founder and CEO, Next League. \u201cHaving had the pleasure of working with Becki for over 10 years, I can honestly say she is one of the hardest working and most well respected professionals in the business. At Next League, we strongly believe in hiring from within and promoting those who deliver exceptional work while demonstrating strong leadership abilities. Becki has played an integral role helping us lead the company to where it is today and I look forward to seeing her continue to flourish in this new role.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI am proud to be part of the Next League team and am grateful for this opportunity to contribute to the overall operations of the company,\u201d said Civello. \u201cWe\u2019ve had a lot of great successes in a short period of time and I look forward to continuing that momentum into 2023 and beyond.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Civello recently wrote an article, released around Title IX\u2019s 50th Anniversary in June 2022, titled\u00a0<a href=\"\/pt\/opportunity-women-sports-technology\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201cThe Impact and Role Sports Has Had on My Life.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0In it, she cited a statistic from a recent\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ey.com\/en_us\/athlete-programs\/why-female-athletes-should-be-your-next-leader\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">EY<\/a>\u00a0report that 94% of women in C-Suite roles played some form of sport growing up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSports has, and will continue to play, an important role in my life,\u201d said Civello. \u201cI am humbled to now count myself as part of that exclusive group.
