Next League Hires Sports Tech Veteran for Executive Role
Roland Lange joins Next League as its Chief Commercial Officer
NEW YORK, NY - October 11, 2023 - Next League, the leading digital growth consultancy and technology services organization working exclusively within the global sports industry, today announced the hire of Roland Lange as its first Chief Commercial Officer.
In this newly created role, Roland Lange will be responsible for creating and executing commercial strategies aimed at accelerating the growth of the overall business. He will be part of the Executive Management team and will report to David Nugent, Next League’s Chief Executive Officer.
With over 20 years of extensive digital media and sports industry experience, Roland joins Next League from Kiswe, a technology company that creates custom digital experiences connecting content owners directly with their audiences, where he was most recently their Global Head of Business Development. He had previously spent over a decade at Google, including four years with YouTube Sports, where he worked closely with some of its largest properties including the NBA, MLS, NASCAR, Turner Sports and The Whistle.

Roland, who received his B.S. from Cornell University and currently resides in Brooklyn, NY, is the latest senior-level Commercial hire brought on by Next League to support its growing business. He follows Juan De Jesus (Chief Strategy Officer – April), Lindsay Schwartz (Director, Business Development - July), Katherine Krohn (Principal - EVP, Venues & Events - September) and Jenna Trabulus (VP, Client Strategy & Delivery – September).
